Validation is implortant to me. Reading other best practices, provides a benchmark for my own performance rating. Learning that other instructors successfully use similar techniques is helpful. As an instructor my confidence and passion for the subject will be picked up by my students. Taking students to the "ownership level" is rewarding.

Writing professional work is the bigger challenge. Objectivity and documentation is a challenge for many. Personal limitations are reflected in their assignments.
