About me

I am an Education Advisor/Consultant for MaxKnowledge. I write courses that assist in the professional development of career college instructors. These courses range in content from the introductory level to advanced instructional development. I started my teaching career as an instructional technology teacher on the high school level, completed graduate school and then moved into higher education. I spent many years in the area of teacher training at the University of Nebraska. While at the University of Nebraska I stared working with career college instructors to improve their instructional delivery skills. As a result of these experiences I have been a consultant to career colleges throughout the United States and a number of foreign countries.

Hi John, There is something about grasping an object and viewing it up close that really helps to reinforce the knowledge retention for students. Good strategy in using the pass-a-rounds. Gary
Hi Julius, So true. Having an instructor that displays these characteristics really sets the stage for learning success. Gary
Hi Georgette, Yours is such an important function. You are providing support at critical times in the learning sequence of students. Thank you for this and all that you do to keep the students focused. Gary

Hi Aquila, I couldn't agree more. An instructor that is excited about what he/she is teaching and conveys that excitement to students is going to enjoy being able to help educator the next generation of workers in the field. Gary
Hi Bob, Great to hear that you are going to be able to implement some of the concepts you have learned in ED 108. I wish you much teaching success as you expand your expertise as an instructor. Gary
