I had the great opportunity to learn today about the importance of utilizing online communication to build positive retention and rapport with my students and peers within my institution. It was also positive to learn that online learning and traditional learning doesn't provide a direct basis on which method produces the best results of the student. Moreso it is based on the participants individual performance and dedication to the course, and because most of my time teaching has been in a traditional setting it was a refreshing insight to know that learning doesn't have to meet a singular standard.
