Activity

From this module, I learned how important it is to fully understand a prospective student’s environment before offering solutions. The 3 A’s (Acknowledge, Answer, and Ask) and active listening help build trust and create more meaningful conversations.

I plan to apply this by asking more open-ended questions, listening more intentionally, and focusing on each student’s individual needs before recommending a program.

From this module, I learned that ethical enrollment requires focusing on each stage of the student journey, starting with building a genuine relationship and continuing through exploration, goal alignment, and follow-up. I also learned how important it is to approach admissions holistically by combining people skills, sales skills, product knowledge, and a strong professional attitude.

I plan to apply this by making sure I focus on understanding each student’s needs, goals, and concerns before discussing program details. I want to continue supporting students in making informed decisions while maintaining ethical standards and creating a positive experience throughout the enrollment process.

I learned how important it is to stay updated with rules, regulations, and institutional policies to make sure we are giving accurate information to prospective students. I also learned the value of maintaining a resource notebook and continuously updating it. I plan to apply this by regularly reviewing compliance updates, training materials, and making sure I communicate clear and correct information to students and families.

In this module, I learned how important it is to understand my institution’s policies, programs, and student services, and to always follow Commission rules and Fair Consumer Practices. I plan to apply this by making sure I give accurate information to students, stay updated on regulations, and work closely with other departments to support students correctly.

From this module, I learned how important it is to follow admissions requirements exactly and make sure all paperwork is completed correctly before enrolling a student. I also learned that students must clearly understand tuition, policies, and program requirements. I will apply this by staying organized, using checklists, and making sure every student gets clear and accurate information during the admissions process.

From this module, I learned how important compliance is in admissions, especially understanding Florida rules, fair consumer practices, and accurate marketing. I also learned that training is ongoing and that staying updated is part of being a strong admissions professional.

I plan to apply this by making sure I communicate clearly and honestly with prospective students, stay informed on policy updates, and follow all required guidelines.
