Student comprehension is of vital importance, referencing back to my experience as a student in a technical college environment an effective lesson plan within my courses greatly contributed to my comprehension of the material being presented. Being properly prepared and presenting the material to students in which they will better understand and comprehend the material is of great importance.

In order to create a comfortable and effective learning environment, you must allow the students to get know you with a positive introduction and providing your professional experience and also allowing the students to introduce themselves so in turn you learn about them as well.

Creating a well-constructed lesson plan in order to present and cover all course material objectives is greatly beneficial in order for the students to retain the information and succeed throughout the course.

Projecting professionalism and being a respectful role model for the students is key in the engagement and comprehension of the material being presented to the students within the classroom environment.
