The major points that I have learned in this module, is that students knowledge is the most important. Being on time and therefore respecting their time in the learning environment is paramount. Engaging the students more in the format of guide on the side rather than sage on the stage keep students overall more engaged. Different activities than just lecturing gives them opportunities to learn differently work as groups or teams and learn from each other. I also learned, that there is always room for improvement. Absolutely staying on top of how the students are progressing and interact early in the educational process.
Being prepared with the material to be presented.
Being early to class and office hours, not just on time.
Engaging students during lecture, "checking in" on them to make sure they are understanding the material.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
