I learned that there are multiple organizations that can grant Accredidation. The accredidation bodies of Veterans Affairs, the Board of Nursing, Workforce, Vocational Rehab and of course the Flordia Commision for Independent Colleges. The module also shed light on being familiar with the being familiar with which credits are accepted by and transfer out of our institution.

I learned that  as an admissions representative  I am responsible for sharing a information on a wide range of topics with our students. These topics range from orientation process, academic assistance, counseling to placement and graduation. I also found out that our instution has an 85% graduation rate for students that recieve the required certifications.

During this module I learned the importance of having a clear grasp of the entry requirements and standards of my insitition. I also recieved a clearer understanding of how important it is to be thourougly prepared for the interview process. This includes having all of the necessary documents prepared including the enrollment agreement as well as having access to the insittutional catalog in case additional programatic clarity is required.

This module shared with me the importance staying informed of the programatic offerings as well as entry requirements for our course offernings.  It is empartive that I keep my knowledge base current in order to ensure that our students have the greatest chance of achieving success. The section on Title IV funds was also quite enlightning. I learned that their are certain standards set forth by the Board of Education that must be met before an educational institution can recieve Title IV funds.
