I agreee. The majority of my classes are clinical in nature and this course gave me a lot of new ideas to put into practice.

The institution that I work for stands firm on the law that we cannot ask a student if they have a learning disability. Are there any suggestions out there on how to determine disabilities with out asking the student so that they can be more appropriately accomodated in a fast paced class environment?

Our program teaches in 5 week modules. That is 5 weeks for a dyslexic student to memorize and understand the basics of Medical Terminology covering 22 chapters and over 3, 000 new medical terms.

I have found that using Medical Terms and making it into a scavengar hunt is a fun and new way to learn the definitions of terms.
I am very excited to try this technique to learning in my med term class. Sometimes its is like an information overload for them and I can see them lose all focus. I think this activity will help and build retention of the information. Has anyone used this?
