Make sure the rubric is clear and precise so that student has a good understanding of it 

Use a rubric system that is fair across the board for all students. Also, use the suggested resources to help build rubrics 

Rubrics can be time-consuming, and feedback should be individualized to the student submitting the assignment. It should be unbiased and student-centered. 

I understand that the rubric will guide the student in completing their assignment correctly and allow the instructor to grade and make necessary changes to help the student be successful in their submitted work.
