Living in a world where things change consistently, it is so important to main up to date documents. I appreciated that chart with who to contact for certain information, it is so helpful to see that as a team knowing the basics of what runs our institution and keeps us successful. Staying up to date also goes hand in hand with consistent institution trainings.

This module showed the importance of getting to know others on Campus especially Directors who are well aware of the institutions procedures, policies, and rules and also knowing information that benefits our students such as career skills and placement. In Admissions, that is one of the top concerns for students, especially because they are paying thousands of dollars, if they are going to be able to find a job after the program, and if they will have the proper skills to maintain the job. 

There are so many important responsibilities that comes along with being an Admissions representative. Most importantly is being organized and ensuring i have all the necessary information to be able to provide this information to students when it applies. Being able to offer all the resources and procedures, such as types of financial assistance available, is crucial for the success of our students, and reduce retention. I plan to apply these responsibilities everyday as it will allow me to be an effective and successful in my role. 

This module explains and provides the necessary resources for Admissions staff to effectively and properly enrolling students. I learned important terms, Florida Statues and Rules, and the necessary skills and knowledge on my institution's policies to be successful as an Admissions representative. I intend on applying the information i learn, by participating ideas in our meetings, utilizing the selling skills and keeping up to date on all changes.
