It is imperative for an instructor to be organized. As a new instructor, Focus on highlighting your experience in your field rather than mentioning about your lack of experience in teaching.  

When that student disrupts the learning of others and presents a barrier to the success of the class.

Make sure to encourage all students to participate in class. 

I learned to set a deadline for assignments 

I have learned certain pedagogical methods. 

I have learned when meeting your class the first time, you need to introduce yourself, get to know them and what are their expectations about the class. 

I have learned as a new instructor to come to class early, be prepared and get to know your students by knowing their names. Planning is key. Checklist is very important so as not to miss the most important and critical contents of your class. 

I have learned to become a role model to my students by setting as an example. Motivate them in the manner that they will be encouraged to study well and make good in class.
