The "4 Os" is key when transferring F2F lectures in online content. Also it is important to transform information/lectures making it suitable for the online audience. 

There are no nonverbal cues in an online setting, so I need to be clear and concise in giving feedback. I also need to be proactive in learning what my students' needs are in making them successful.

Communication is two-way traffic with online teaching, as much as I want my students to understand me, I equally want to understand them as individuals.

There are many technological resources available both for the instructor and the students. Also that most tools are not limited to just only the primary function, functionalities can be expanded.
