I strongly recommend taking the ED107 course if you want to raise your standards in becoming a more effective instructor.

I have just completed the course on Active Learning Strategies. This was an informative course not only for enhancing one's teaching style but also for increasing student's performance. We are living in an age where education must be "student centered". By living in an technological age, we must empower students to become active participants in their quest for knowledge.

This course on managing the adulr classroom is highly recommended for any instructor teaching in a career college. This information will definitely make you a better instructor.

I found that this course offered some vaulable information for any instructor teaching in an online format. The information presented things to consider when testing students were of great value. This is very important since we are teaching in a virtual environment and need to make sure students are learning the information.

This is a great course for understanding the mindset of this generation of new learners. I strongly recommend this course to all instructors

I found this course to be very useful information in helping students development themselves professionally and in becoming lifelong learners. Ideal information for the time we are living in.

Excellent course to increase your awareness about issues affecting retention. It is everyone's business or else we are out of a job!

It should be obvious the importance of retention. Most schools factor in that some students are not cut out for academia. I reality, our business should be about helping those who least expect the earn a college degree. This should be the challenge or goal for all schools. If we are reaching out to them, then we must be doing something right.

1. The value that should be placed on orientation in helping students adjust to college life thus reducing retention.

2. Taking an pro-active approach in identifying at risk students (i.e., absences, tardy, poor performance, not socialable, etc.) and understanding ways to meet their needs.

3. Additional tools or support structures that can be developed to help at risk students.
