need to take baby steps first to interperet effectiveness, then expand the method with good feedback to ensure it is actually beneficial to your students based off of the subject being taught

Pre-recorded lectures should be <10 minutes  and it’s essential to carefully balance what happens online and in the classroom by considering the course objectives. 

Flipped classroom requires much preparation to implement successfully.  pre-recorded lectures can be provided in various languages for the hearing impaired or students who's first language is not English.

definition of flipped classroom. In this instructional strategy, the students take responsibility for their learning while the instructor serves as a facilitator for student learning.  I like the concept of the students actually "pulling their weight" and taking ownership,

Asking students reflective questions ensure that they are retaining the pertinent information

I find that I ask more probing questions to ensure students are understanding the topic at hand

I find that providing open ended questions to my students, only one or 2 students will always answer and most of the effort is minimized due to time restraints
