The younger generation prefers active engagement and hands on exercises for their learning needs. The problem of the instructor is how to keep them all engaged at the same time 

Younger students have a different approach to learning due to the new age technology that generation x never had.

instructors need to adapt to each learning style and be able to determine what style works best for their students to reach the best learning outcome.

There are different learning styles with different generations and I have not heard of the Generation Alpha before.
