I've learned that it will take careful planning of course content to assist my students in their learning process.   I would like to put into action a test module and have another teacher be able to give feedback on the simplicity of opening, following directions of the activity and do an assessment.

I found it interesting that some students may challenge you and may not be fully absorbed in learning virtually.  We as instructors should try to alleviate the problems by providing these students some personal attention that may be offered by email or chats to resolve a negative issue.

I learned the importance of engaging e-learners through asynchronous and synchronous discussions and recognizing and understanding the differences in learning styles in what to look for in each student.

I learned the importance of maintaining a presence by helping my students feel comfortable being secure online.  Provide a bio on myself of my educational skills, achievements, and hobbies. I would want to establish a good relationship with my online learners by having each student provide a brief bio of themselves and also having a discussion as to what their expectations are of me. 

It is important to be familiar with the course contents I'm taking in order to teach my students virtually online.  It is very important to understand the course guidelines, format, and standards in order to impart this same knowledge to my students.
