Great question. I would say it depends on the level of cheating. I would have a frank talk with that person. However, if teh cheating affects the school business and puts our core values in danger, I would bring this up to my supervisor.

The education business must be transparent to build the trust between the institution and the students. When someone does misconduct volunatriy or not it hurts the business with the same outcome. The employees with their conduct and working ethics must show an example to our students because it's a part of education.

You are right, Michael Lim, about the amount of regulations in education. I appreciate this because the compliance regulations and especially the transparency compliance rules bring the quality up and creates the trust in legitimacy of this kind of business. Students can be reassured that accredited school that follows the regulations will help or at least will not steer them into a wrong way in order to make a profit vs. following the best interest of the students. I have came across some information about misrepresentation by higher education institutions in other countries. This allows the US schools to stand out and… >>>

I believe that the transparency and honest disclosure should be the norm for every business and especially in the medical and educational field. Integrity as one of Concorde core values embraces total transparency in our processes. The Admissions Representatives and other school officials should be held responsible for misrepresentation of any aspects of getting education at the College. Only open dialogue with the prospects and students may build that trust which is a foundation of our business ethics. There are so many schools that offer similar programs to students, but the students may turn away from the school whose reps… >>>

In my job I always have to be in compliance with FERPA regulations eventhough sometimes it's dificult. For instance, I receive a call from a parent who wants to make a payment on behalf of one of our students who happen to be their daughter or son. I immediately check teh FERPA file to see if I have a release info. If parents is not on FERPA release and asks me how much he/she should pay, I always have a hard time, but I stay in compliance and refere them back to their student as I can't release any private information. Recently our Admissions Department has… >>>

@jelekes :

I agree. I am glad that we have this opportunity to learn about governing rules and regulations which helps us to provide a superb service and job security by being in compliance.

I am proud of Concorde that ths organization cares about being in compliance and provides this training to its employees.

I noticed that most of the questions in the quizes were very specific to the Admissions and to the Financial Aid professionals. Some of those questions were too specific and did not provide all the information before the quiz itself. However, overall it was a great course. I learned a lot and refreshed my memory.
