I genuinely like to keep my students engaged with little jokes and funny ways of remembering different rules. I feel like having good energy and genuine excitement for the material and them as well.

I don't feel like I fit into any one style of lecture. I guess I'm a combination lecturer. I beleive that it would be beneficial to hone my skills in one or two specific styles of lecturing, for the future.

OK, so I haven't been too far in my initial meet and greets with my students. I definitely need to be more organized with my thoughts though. I'm going to try the outline and to do list for myself. Maybe that'll help with my scatter brain during class.

This section here has me feeling some major guilt. Often times in class, I'm asked questions that I've answered so many times that I get frustrated. Then, I look and I don't see the answer to in my own syllabus. After that I spiral about all the teachers and professors that always answered everyone's questions with, "It's in the syllabus."

So far, this section has made me feel very inadequate as an instructor. Its showing me, that I have a long way to go to as an instructor. Apparently, I haven't been doing half of what an instructor should be doing. I didn't realize that just being in this position, I'm setting an example for my students. I was unaware of the model I need to become, so that I can properly manage and motivate my students to be the best in their field.
