I recently had a conversation with a friend that works in the energy sector, specifically he is a high ranking IT professional and we discussed the topic of data centers and their incredible energy needs. This inspired me to learn more about AI. This past module spoke of the processing chips and efforts that are being made to make the processes more efficient. From what my friend described, Data Centers operate as their very own Power Plants, but when the surrounding grid demands more power, these centers are required by law to provide it.
