Safety is always important! As teachers, we need to do everything we possibly can to protect our students. 

Building relationships with your students will help them feel more comfortable and confident! Always be understanding because we do not know what happens to them when they go home. 

Before the module, I was unsure about what an advisory board is and now I better understand! I also understand that it is vital and important to reach out to others when you need help. 

The module strengthened my understanding of the acronyms used in CTE. It also reinforced that we must maintain a professional manner with our students. 

By introducing CTE in secondary education, there is a greater chance for students to find a career pathway of their choosing. CTE teaches students knowledgable skills that they can take outside of the classroom. By understanding the history of CTE, I am better able to explain to my students the importance of education. There is less chances of students saying, "why should I learn this? I'm never going to use it outside of school".
