Transformative learning can be applied by allowing students to discuss their roles as learners. Provide ways for them to be engaged through-discussion, journal logs to name a couple of examples that we currently employ in the MA program.

Five advising steps listed in the course: form a clear student-centered pathway for an instructor or administrator to follow. 

Treating students as customers can risk alienating them from the program. It should be more of a student-centered service orientation that holds to the primary mission of educating while responding to their needs.

Using experience-based activities and scenarios from real world is a great teaching strategy for tech students.

Leaders need to engender trust and have good communication with their team.The focus should be on establishing common goals, with a clear direction and acknowlegmengt of the teams success or falilures along the way.
