I like the idea of having my students complete a personality survey for online learners and using that data to drive how I run the asynchronous portion of the course.

This was very infomormative on how to layout the course and include synchronous class time in small doses and using asynchronous tasks to supplement and add to the content to enhance engagement and effective learning.

It can be a challenge when sending out text messages to students in an online format. Body language and other nonverbal cues are not present so you must be sure to convey your message in a positive but clear way.

Feedback is vital to the success of an online course, without it the learner is living in a vacuum with no real direction or vision of how they are progressing through the course.

I have been teaching most of my online course in a synchronous fashion but really like the information provided to add more asynchronous learning content.

I typically teach online courses and synchronous lessons but like the idea of asynchronous learning. I would like to use some different technologies to accomplish that, perhaps the e-portfolio or wiki.

Student feedback and peer review are very useful for me to make sure my course is on track with learning objectives and maintaining outcomes.

I am going to use the muddies point paper and the exit ticket discussion board ideas I think this would be a great addition to determine what the studetn does not understand and/or their level of understanding.

I really like the idea of a dynamic syllabus. I will using this moving forward in the LMS that I am using. This should increase the awareness of time table for assignments, discussion boards, and assesments.

I like the smaller chunks to keep students engaged. They seem to lose focus and zone out when one object takes too long. I think they retain more in the shorter object areas.

In online learning procrastination seems to be the biggest difficulty my students have while in the course. Many of them are having difficulty making the transition from the typical classroom to the self paced e-learning classroom.
