I like the enrollment checklist because it will assist each student in understanding and remembering what needs to be done at what time.  It makes things organized.

I learned that it is important to be more detailed in explaining the tuition cost and how it has value in achieving their goals.  It's an investment and commitment for their future.

I learned that it is important to gather information thru both listening, observing and discussing each student's needs and goals.  The tour will give the student the visual perspective that they might need to really understand what they will be doing and where.

I learned that having a good framework opens up good communication and rapport with the prospective student and their supports.  Small talk can break the ice and make them more comfortable in moving forward.

I learned everyone is unique in their communication style, history, motivation, and personality.  By listening, adapting and being prepared to every encounter with a student and their family, will build trust and an essential engagement to go through the admissions process and ongoing relationship through their educational experience.

From this module I have learned of how to identify and reduce friction by really listening and understanding each student.  I have also learned about looking at generational preferences and how that will effect how I communicate information and how I approach decision making.  

This module made me reflect on the knowledge I have now and what I can learn moving forward.  I feel that this is a process of understanding, applying and learning how to focus on each student's needs.  This journey will take time and I'm open to it.

I learned the different kinds of advertising strategies.

I learned more about what the admissions requirements are needed, what is in the enrollment agreement and about financial aid and tuition assistance.  

I have learned about the importance of being an effective Admissions Agent by understanding the rules and regulations.  Also I have learned about creating a Resource Notebook and how it will assist me thru this process.  I also need annual trainings and be aware of any changes to rules.
