This topic interests me. I agree that the success of this approach "depends on how flexible a student is in learning new ways of communicating."

 

I frequently use a Word template, especially when the student responses miss important items or include extra insight. Both of these occasions require feedback that may be repeatedly recyled and reused.

 

With the sudden change from in-class to on-line delivery of curriculum, the development of workload management skills has often not been prioritized as educators struggle to deliver content in this new environment.
