I understand that everyone learns in his or her own style, but doesn't every instructor also teach in his or her own style as well? I think the instructor needs to find his way first then get better at hitting all the student styles after.

While I believe it is better to start off on the tougher side and ease up during the phase, what about what I expect from the students? Should I expect little from them on day 1 and expect more as days pass or expect the most from day 1?

Realistically, how long should it take to have it all covered as far as preperation goes? I try to get all my notes together before each phase and each class, but there always seems to be something I should have added or done.
Is it realy all that different from working in the field? I remember being told how things should and would work, but until I got the hands on experience it was all just words. Cross training and watching another instructor is great for learning some tricks of the trade but I think you have to have your own classes to realy know what will and won't work for you.
