Communication is extremely important to the success of your students' learning. Establishing a code of conduct is also important for success and to have all included.

As an instructor you should analyze various technology tools to see which tool will best fit your plan of communication with your students and fit their needs to communicate with the instructor. Formative and summative assessments should be done to gather dataa on the tools if the particular tool or tools is working as intended for the best fit for learning.

An instructor must take a look at their F2F course and decide how best to meet the needs of the learners. A variety of technology tools and methods should be used, but be consistant in the delivery of the course modules, so students become familiar with the layout of the course.

As an instructor make sure you are being a good facilitator of the online course. Make sure you have evaluated your teaching styles and student learning styles to get optimal learning from your students. The instructor should provide multiple feedback for the students and create a student centered learning environment where students want to learn.

In an online enviornment, the instructor must be orgainized and select appropriate technology tools in addtion to the organization of the LMS, in order for students to be successful in the course content. The instructor must provide clear communication and guidelines for the course and the interaction of the students with the instructor and each other.

There are many technology tools that are available. The instructor and students should evaluate the technology tools to see if it enhances the learning. The tool should not become a hindrance to the instructor or students.

The instructor of an online course should develop multiple ways of evaluation in regards to student learning and the quantitative and qualitative content of the online course.

We learned about formative and summative assessments and how to use rubrics with those assessments. It is also notated that providing peer to pear and instructor to peer feedback is very important when used correctly. This helps improve learning.

It is important to have a dynamic syllabus for the course. This will help guide the students' learning. It is also important to set up communication guidelines and how that will take place. Scaffolding of content will allow for all learniers to be successful in the course.
