Learning challenges and learning preferences are seen as different and both need to be identified and worked with your students to ensure success. 

This went over the connection of language and culture. How the use of their "mother tongue" will help them learn the material as its how they connect and their thought process. 

Culture and Race are of equal importance and understand that their is a societal construct. To be intentional with my language and responses. 

This content has solidified the importance of to think of each student as an individual and not to think of the entire class as a group. Each member of our community is an individual and thinking of all their separate needs will make the material more digestible for everyone in the room. This allows all learners to be included in the class.
