There were a few concerning issues addressed in this module.

The general concept of scheming isn't just a potential hazard for promoting bias but also a network safety issue. Our school system has really limited the number of tools we can access because of data privacy concerns. Not always.

I've mainly been using AI for administrative projects like building app scripts to help me manage communications with students - or to help match tutors and students. Is the code AI is generating for those scripts good? I have no idea. 

When something doesn't work properly-or as expected- I've usually been able to explain the problem well enough to AI for it to fix it- and I've learned a few things about how coding works- but I'm a novice. I wouldn't be able to… >>>

I'm really interested in how people are using AI for long-term projects. I'm also interested in simulators and adaptive tools that programs may be using. We haven't gone much beyond using Gemini in our school- and all software/tech decisions have to be approved by our technology department. We can't just sign contracts and purchase tech without going through a lengthy review process.

What tools have your teams invested in? Which ones have worked well? Which seem worth the effort to maintain?

That would be helpful for teacher and tutor coaching- and for improving my own training sessions. I

Practicing communication skills with students seems pretty safe. I've done that with some 2nd language practice, and it's fun to have mini-conversations and get feedback from AI. 

I'd be curious to know if anyone in this discussion group has reached across disciplines to get ideas for strengthening communication strategies within their specific fields. 

The guidelines around which types of tasks are likely to work with AI takeover are helpful as are the reminders to check in and evaluate AI's effectiveness.

I haven't taught in the classroom since AI became widely available. Have instructors found that using AI for specific, routine tasks has given them time for more high impact time with students?
