Trining safety in the laboratory settings requires defining safety protocols and dilegence on the part of the instructor to insure standards are being followed.

 

Identifying a student's learning style and making the student aware of thier personal learning styles will benefit and enhance the learning process.  Teaming students with like learning styles is anovel idea that I plan to use in future classes.

Revisiting Bloom's Taxonomy and applying verbiage will enhance student learning in the laboratory environment.

 

Introducing the use of tablets in the classroom makes sense; many students are already using these devices in home and school applications.

As culinary instructors, we have the opportunity to engage with eclectic age groups and experiance levels. This is one of the challenges of training in the culinary environment; however, the satisfaction of helping a culinary team come together is great.

Involving device in delivery of lessons make sense. Heck, studentsare already engaging with devices during lectures. Why not put the focus on the lesson while allowing the use of devices?

 

The use of self-grading tests with immediate feedback to the student is exciting; I have personally benefitted from this type of testing.  From my personal experiance, this would be a huge asset in training students.

It is good to review stategies for assisting students with PTSD and TBI to be comfortables and confident in the classroom
