Activity

I think it is always important to remember that students learn differently. Some students come in with a wealth of technical knowledge. Others struggle with computer know how. We need to remember that it can be challenging to design a course around all of their needs.

I will try and find ways to incorporate more evaluations for my students. It is essential to try and find different evaluations because there are different ways that people learn and if we do not include the ways that people learn we may miss evaluating good learning for people.

Students really need feedback. It is how they learn and improve. Without feedback they are not able to understand what they are working on and what they need to do differently.

It is essential to give students detail. When working with online, you are not there to answer questions and interact face to face. Detail will allow you to potentially catch the challenges that could be happening.

I found it quite interesting to have a better framework for consistency. Sometimes I feel like I want to have more freedom to design things differently, but it makes sense from the student perspective to keep things uniform, so that they do not have to deal with changing things. This also limits their questions and helps save me time.
