I learned about different types of students that may be be addressed: noisy, dsruptive etc. I will keep these categories in mind as student interactions begin.

I've never formally learned about the different learning styles before. I will be looking for those in my students.

One thing I have wondered about with online courses is how to get a sense of a community. Having the teacher as well as the students post a bio is a good way to do that. I've also never thought about including personal interests in my bio to make me more relatable to the students.

I will definitely make sure to go through the student orientation course to see what the students are taught about the course management system before they get to my course.  I will also make sure ahead of time who to contact if there are any technical issues.
