I also would like to share that this course assisted me in preparing for my first online course. I really liked the explanation provided for creating your classroom environment. The reality of not seeing students in person does have to be navigated well for learning to take place.

This course was a little hard to follow. It had some good points about the benefit of active learning with adult learners. However, it needed a little more practical application of methods with clear examples of activities. That would have helped..

I did glean some helpful information from this some of this section. I like the section that highlighted how to evaluate if teaching is taking place. And how to incorporate with your lecture, a discussion. I have seen that this style of delivery does in deed assist with student information retention. It can be an easy assessment of where students are during the course of the class.

I think this is quite beneficial to any new or existing teacher/instructor. The skills and video clips that are reviewed were quite informative and meaningful for teaching & classroom management.
