New to an online course, the students already were familiar with who I am. I definitely like the idea of the bio for the instructor as well as bio's for each of the students. I think this is a definite "ice breaker"

One thing that I was unaware of is making a summary of the discussion responses. I think that is a very good idea! We have recently taken our course on-line due to the Covid-19 shelter in place order so only recently started to use the forum for discussion questions.

My Thoughts

I am fortunate to have, as a family member, a person who has been a supervisor for some time. She enlightened me about this exact point Phillip. We, the managers, are looked at as doing a good job, if the folks we have reporting to us, are happy. It is definitely sage advice.

Moving around the classroom

All of our students have tablets, and they are "connected" to the instructor via a program called LAN school. This enables the instructor to take over their tablets and walk around the classroom; engaging the students as they are mobile.
