I learned that each individual with autism is unique in how they function and reach to the environment. I also learned about the different spectrums and characteristics of autism. This was helpful and will help me to be more aware and understand students with autism.

 

With FERPA you need to err on the side of caution and keep student's information protected and confidential.

Despite the many positives of technology in education, we can not forget to teach the students the importance of interpersonal relationships

Communication is definitely something you here about a lot but most people tend to under value or under use it. Without communication, it becomes difficult to solve any problem.

Technology provides another platform for trades students to apply what they learn and improve their contextual learning as well.

It's important to get hands on practice but it is equally important to improve your problem solving skills to couple with the practical training.

There is more to learning then just storing information and repeating it. There are the minor details that may not seem as important but contribute greatly to post-educational life.

It's important to give students the opportunity to grow self-confidence by allowing them to do things that best suit their personality traits without straying from the learning objective

I have learned that it takes more than being knowledgable to be a good teacher. You must also incorporate other qualities such as sociability, passion, etc.
