What I've learned is that students are more likely to stay engaged and persist in a course when they feel supported, valued, and connected to the learning process.
One key idea that stood out to me is the importance of building strong relationships between students and educators. When students feel supported, valued, and connected to their learning, environment, and persist through challenges.
When you recognize a student need and offer to assist them. It helps to bridge the gap between the student and the teacher. Which helps to open up communication, and the student feel comfortable like they have someone they can depend on when they have issues going on with them.
