In this module ,I have learned recommended effective strategies for the following areas:

Keeping course records
Ways to communicate with online learners
Couseling students
How to deal with undesirable behavior
Resolving student conflicts
Minimizing student attrition

In this module,I have learned that asynchronous discussions are conversations that occur at different times over a period of days or weeks. On the other hand synchronous discussions happen in real time often in the form of live chat or video sessions. Additionally providing feedback throughout each session encourages participation and supports ongoing learning.

In this module,I have learned that being present, supportive and relatable encourages students to open up to learning. I also realize that sharing professional experiences can help students connect theory to practice and feel more engaged in the learning process.

It is important for distance learners to feel supported throughout their studies. Support comes not only from the instructor but also through reliable technology assistance. While every instructor may have a different teaching style,the common goal remains the same:to help students gain knowledge and retain what they learn.
