The part about revising the course and using the evaluations has made me think about course changes occurring based on the pattern from learner's remarks.

I liked the concept of exit tickets.  It is an easy technique to see whether the learners are having any issues prior to a summative assessment.

I have gained a better understanding of how a syllabus can be used in an online course.  I knew Canvas would dynamically add assignments to a syllabus.  It gives me a new appreciating of how the college implements the syllabus in the math courses.

I learned the importance of module consistency.  It definitely would enhance the learning experience for students and make it easier to navigate.

I have never seen conflicts in a math discussion before.  I have seen it in the regular classroom.  This unit made me think of how I would handle conflicts.  I believe approaching it by restating the requirements and rules of the discussion would be important.  Most people would not necessarily violate the rules so perhaps they are not aware of them.  I am not sure if I ever posted do's and dont's in discussion guidelines.

I never thought of the asynchronous discussion as so important to an online course.  I have always been a person that just wants to dive in with the material but I can see how some students have learning styles that NEED to have this interaction to feel connected.

I learned a few new techniques to present myself in an online environment.  I even got to wondering about the placement of my webcam and how that might affect the learners perception of myself.

I especially liked the checklist of items under "comprehending the course delivery format".  These would be excellent considerations when designing a new course and thinking about the delivery of the content.  I have designed courses before but never really approached them from a structural format.
