It is important to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of each team member to determine which roles may be fulfilled. If any are missing it is important to discuss potential obstacles to determine how to be proactive to avoid the potential obstacles. Understanding the personality and role of each team member will help in ensuring the project is completed thouroughly and on time.

It is important to collaborate with your team members to determine the best methods for achieving the common goal of the project. Stay open minded, stay positive, empower your team members, set goals, share best practices and failures to improve, and stay focused. Communication is key.

It is important to determine which generation you are speaking to as to determine the most effective method of communicaiton. Older generations prefer phone calls or emails, where as younger generations prefer emails or text messages. 

It is important to talk with the student about his/her story, expectations, desires, and motivation to determine where they are coming from, what their mindset is, and why they are needing to get back into school. Depending on where they are at in their life/career will be a factor into the motivation to get into school. Older students may be doing it as a responsiblity to care for their family or provide a better lifestyle, younger generations may be doing it because that is what you are supposed to do after high school, or their parents are encouraging them to… >>>
