As an Administrator, I feel for you Chad.  A good adminsitrator or depatment head should make every effort to communicate with Ajunct personnel.  Sometimes I feel like my Adjuncts and I are ships passing in the night.  I do have to make an effort to be present on the shifts that they are working to make sure that they know I am here to support them and that they are in the loop.  I also agree that meetings should be set up with each department head to meet with adjuncts so that they can provide much needed information to Adjunct… >>>

I agree.  I have learned much even after my 9+ years of experience.  ED103 was especially helpful in redirecting my assessment techniques and helping me to see that it reaaly does matter how or in what format the test does really effect the outcome for the students.  I have gained new insight into my students though process.

ED 102 was a great refresher on Retention methods.  As a 9+ year instructor and Program Director, it was helpful to go back and pick up some tid bits and learn some new things.  I can certainly use what new things I have learned to better coach my staff and help to assimilate new instructors.  It made me better at what I do at the managment level for my program d.fazio
