The buying process have changed over the years. Students can gather information before they meet with an admissions representative. In order to be successful, you must build a relationship, trust and customized solutions with each prospects. Dont be a pushy sales person. 

Everyone that is employed in the school must must foster an ethical, honest, positive culture. 

Advertisement and marketing should be done with honesty and integrity. Do not make derogatory remarks about other colleges. Always highlight your institutions strengths.  Federal regulations require schools to provide disclosures to students and staff.  Failure to provide disclosure may result in civil fines up to $27,500.

 

It is important to give correct and full information about the school/programs. "Guarantees" are prohibited because there are different outcomes depending on individual students. 

Admission representatives must always be honest and truthful about any information regarding the college or it could lose accreditation. News media utilizes "mystery shoppers" to get information if consumer rights and protection are being uphold in any education facility that have federal financial support. The DNC must not be violated otherwise theres is a hefty fine that could be charged per incident. 

 

Prepare for presentations. Make sure that you have gathered all the materials needed to support your presentation. Prepare mentally and emotionally as well to control nervousness. 

As we build relationship with the student, it is best to tailor the benefits to their needs and offer solution that will eliminate their challenges. Relationships must be fostered even after the enrollment stage. Follow up and continue to be their support.

There are ways to improve your attitude and raise RMA. Never complain again, take ownership, keep a journal and affirmations. 

To manage and increase your attitude levels, you will need to self assess your attitude. Be aware and be flexible. 

Energy is important to your effectiveness and it infects those around you. There are 4 components to energy: physical, psychological, family and spiritual. If one components are down it creates an unbalanced energy.
