Activity

Time management is essential for the online environment.  I hope to utilize effective time management a bit more efficientyly when online teaching is implemented within our department.

 

I learned that is is imperitive to have proactive teaching skills and that there are resources available to keep those skills up to date with technology.

 

Providing mulitple communication tools supports online learning for both the student and the instructor.  I will be sure to include all tools within the syllabus

 

Conducting oneself in a professional manner is expected in all aspects of online learning.  It is the instructors responsibility to provide resourses on what constitutes such professional expectations.

 

Communication continues to be the driving force for successful online teaching/learning.  Self-analysis is a constant for success.

I have learned that time management and motivation are needed on the learning end and should be recognized by the teacher.

 

I will be taking advantage of Rubistar for developing by online rubrics!

 

I will help all generations with providing resources to become successful online learners.  However, my communication is key with that success.

 

 I will be sure to research proper standards for communicating with online learning and create a pattern for that communication.

 

It is important to recognize technology tools in the communication process while examineing specific functions of a technology tool to facilitate good communication.  I will also implement efficient assessment tools.

 

Knowing my teaching method will help to identify my short-comings.  I will develope guidelines that will assist myself and the students through proper course oraganization of content.
