Working in a career college setting I am interested in how the 'Flipped" classroom concept would work. I like the idea of allowing the students to receive the lectures on  their own time and then report to campus for the F2F portion of instruction. For my program it would be working on skill building in the clinical setting. Something to think about for sure, very interesting concept.

If I have hired a new instructor it is because I see great potential in this persons ability to teach students what they need to know to be successful in their career, It is mandatory that new instructors attend an orientation with senior management and myself, the program director, before ever setting foot into the classroom to teach. We start with classroom management and cover grading, campus  portals, student advisings etc.....this process can take up to 30-days and on-going training thereafter.

Teaching really allows us to make a significant impact on students lives. I have found with my experience in the Dental Industry, the classroom experience and now my career services position has really prepared me well for all aspects of this environment.

great course. I will use what I learned moving back into the classroom.

I teach dental assisting students. In my method I bring real life to my lecture topics as well as the hands on education they get in the clinical environment.
