Correct Fit at the Education Institutions is a must.  Which falls back to communicating expectations

Communicating Expectations is a dire necessity.  Both student and teacher must make sure they understand EACH OTHERS expectaions for the class

I try to make sure that if i view the student as a customer, I don't take the stand point of overly "pleasing" the customer like in a consumer type situation.  They are still students and must follow instruction.

I try to keep the mind set that when what i am doing falls under the catagory of "advising them" then i will make sure it is truly that, and about their learning.  I try not to confuse it with helping the student obtain advise on a decision, whether about their educaiton or not, as i only wish to help the student make the most education decision they can, but THEY must MAKE the decision...

I know i need to work on my listening skills.  Too many times i already answer the question before the student is done asking it.  That's bad and not helping me.

Retaining Students is good.  The ideas of how to maintain the retention are great and i learned a lot.

The flipped classroom is the future of teaching.  And that future is now.  Long live the future!  Get Doc and the Delorian
