Utilizing a different approach when presenting more challenging topics that have previously not had the favorable outcomes that I wanted. Attempt changing the presentation method to reach more learners and achieve more success in comprehension of the topic.

As online instustors, we must have a clearly defined syllabus for succint instructions on assignments, due dates and requirements for the particular course. Each student will have unique challenges to online learning so it may benefit the instuctor to have a survey prior to the beginning of the course to identify students particular needs. By identifying strengths and weaknesses, the instuctor can specifically address the individual students who need the assistance to ensure their success.

The idea of dots is a unique way in which the instructor can monitor the student's abilities in different skill sets. This places the focus on the student to obtain the required competency skills checked off without direct supervision from an instructor. I also found it quite informative when discussing staff and the procedures that are being performed on patients. While instructing students in the textbook manner, oftentimes in a clinical setting they may encounter procedures being performed that are not neccesssarily by the book.
