Never heard of the flipped classroom - will have to try it!

Purpose Games site is really good. This was a good module just to write down all the links.

Lots of resource links I've never heard of. I will check them out!

Students with disabilities do represent more overhead for the instructor, but in the long run, will help the student downstream in the program since future instructors will inherit a motivated and successful student that has experience in succeeding.

Helping students with English as a second language helps you also, since they have the smarts to pass if they just understand the questions and content, and moving them to a successful grade means they are not back in your class the next year with the same problem.

I like workgroups. It makes the students work as a team, just like in the workplace. Student assessments of each other are a good way to get a perspective on grading too.

Let's face it, as teachers, we are in some ways actors, and we need to learn to control voice, gestures, posture, eyes, body location in the room to enhance learning. This section provided good nuggets on how to do this.

I like the multiple answer type questions, where the student needs to identify several answers out of four, instead of a single answer. It's also interesting to sprinkle more False in True/False, since its more indicative of actual learning.

Research projects that students work on over the course of the semester are excellent tools to develop critical thinking.

Quizziz is a great tool to get classroom participation. The instructor also needs to train to become good at Q/A, like the H.B.S. video.
