Several learning methods were presented in this module. The UbD method is interesting since it's a bottom-up approach, where the instructor does not start with lesson plan but with objectives in mind.

These are all good examples of test questions. Hand-written essays - as we did in old-school - will thwart the use of AI too.

This section was a repeat of ED114 Questioning in the Classroom.

I love the flipped classroom concept. Will implement an aspect of my class like that in the fall.

Short lecture then interactive discussion is the best way for students to get the material, before we dive into the lab.

I found this module (2) quite good. I will use scripting in my class to add a "question period" during my lecture.

Module 1 is a nice breakdown of types of questions to ask in class.

Like Cheryl said, need to take baby steps first to gauge effectiveness, then expand the method with good feedback.

Our software package has licenses with use only on campus. I have made short <15 minute videos with activities they can review at home, then do them in class. I guess I'm already using the flipped classroom(!)

I think the flipped classroom has advantages in the technology field. Listening to the content online then doing the work in the lab with guidance is an efficient use of resources on both sides (student and teacher).
