Modules that are well structure are easier to follow and engage the students in succesful and meaningful learning

I have never had students described on the EL102 course that antagonize me or try to belittle other students. I feel better prepared to manage students like that in the future.

Use synchronous discusson to one on one interactions with student, easier to manage and more personalized feedback.

I never thought about including my academic achievements as part as projecting my authority in an online course. I will include it from now on.

The easiest way to have a succesful online course is for the instructor to also become familiar with its instituion CMS. We need to feel comfortable accessing all the tools of the CMS such as evaluations, roster, gradebook, etc.

Student evaluations only are not enough to assess your online course. If there is an Instructional Designer, ask for their feedback, as well as other instructors.

Provide rubrics that are clear and match what you expect from the students to know and do.

Communicate what you expect from your students in the syllabus, be clear!

Be consistent with your modules, formatting, style, etc. Students will become familiar with how you structure the course from one chapter to the next.
