What I learned was the information presented for (a)synchronous discussions. Participation is important.
Establishing a good rapport with students is important. Communication is key. I like the idea of students posting bios.
I have learned the importance of understanding the process and functions of the CMS system, using a variety of techniques to deliver the course content to keep students engaged, and have technical support available if needed

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
