In a multi-national environment it is difficult to clearly define the wording and this makes the rubic a sometime difficule tool to use

Time management is critical. Everyday schedules and events can rapidly change the flow of activities. It is very important to plan couse tasking and assignment in a manner that allows for external situations. 

The ability to communicate is tied, in my opinion, to the ability to listen. If you do not properly listen, you cannot understand what was said and you cannot effectively engage in the conversation.

The idea that it takes we as instructors alot of time to prepare is so true. Add to this discussion, as an international instructor, the concerns I have to be language and culturally sensitive to my student audience.

Critical thinking is important, but i have chosen in some of my classes to encourage creative thinking.

I teach international students and what I refer to reverse planning, or having the student identify the problem or end state sometimes help them focus on the problem and the ways to work the porject

Thought provoking.  More challenges to me the instructor to explore my approach based on nthe student backgrounde

I liked the concept of the scaffold approach.

A good rubric, I find hard to build for some courses. Once created, it is a great tool. I have found i get a better product if I let a peer review and make suggestions

I see the value of both. My experiences have been more to the objective methods (ie Flight ttraining).
