I will take these great resources and share them with my coworkers.

There are more barriers to employment for people with disabilities than I realized. The physical barriers are the ones that stick out the most, but there are many more that you don't notice on a daily basis.

There are a lot of things to consider when speaking to my students who have a disability. I will be more intentional to try to accommodate to where they are at

It is very interesting that Higher Ed is not required to provide accommodations for students with 504 plans. They each have their own set of rules they follow when a 504 student attends their college, but there is no guarantee they will have those accommodations moving forward.

Really liked the situations. I think walking through those scenarios can be very beneficial to get students thinking a different way about their jobs and what it takes to keep their job. It is not like school, there are unspoken rules you have to follow.

Great sample interview questions. I really liked the insight about the interviewer's attitude. That is very important not to take things personal. That would be great to practice so you are not caught off guard in an interview.

Really great advice on things to consider while creating resumes and cover letters. References are very important as well, and making sure you choose the correct people who can highlight the skills you have shown

Couple main points stuck out. 50% of the available jobs are not advertised, which is useful information to share with students who feel like there is no hope or nothing to find online. Reflecting on jobs kids want, what those jobs require, and what skills they currently have can be very helpful when exploring career pathways.
