I have learned that when students give feedback and make recommendations that we are unable to fulfill that we need to explain why. I also learned that when revisions are made to our courses that it is important to keep a record of both the changes and the old courses in case the changes that were made do not work and we need to revert to the old curriculum.

Feedback is important for all students and should be provided in a timely manner.

Encouragement is also important and should be given to those who are struggling as well as those that are excelling. I tend to focus more on the students that are struggling and tend to forget those that are doing well. They also need a pat on the shoulder! I will try to do this more often.

I have learned that engaging students is very important and in fact, it is the most important. Utilizing time-saving strategies such as templates and saving my resources that I can use in subsequent classes allows me to spend more time in discussion and with my students.

Time management is as important for the instructor as it is for the student in order to be successful.

I feel that I have pretty good time management however I did like the idea of turning off the email notification as I am one that will jump to emails as they pop up and this does get very distracting.
